Our client, one of Singapore's established Japanese MNC A1 Main Con company, is seeking for talents for the position of M&E Manager.
Working Location : Central Area
Working Hours : 5 Days (Mon-Fri, 8.30am to 5.30pm)
Remuneration Package :
- Basic up to S$ 7,800

Job Description :
- Ensure all Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) works are executed on schedule, in compliance with relevant standards, codes of practice, and safety regulations.
- Liaise and coordinate closely with clients, consultants, authorities, and subcontractors on all M&E-related matters, fostering strong working relationships to ensure smooth and efficient project execution.
- Lead and coordinate the site team to ensure work quality meets both consultant specifications and client expectations.
- Attend project site coordination (CCM) meetings and address any technical issues that may arise.
- Ensure the timely submission and approval of M&E shop drawings, material submissions, and method statements, in alignment with the M&E master schedule.
- Supervise and guide all M&E staff, site supervisors, and subcontractors, ensuring that all work is performed according to approved drawings, materials, and methodologies.
- Review and verify site M&E Variation Orders, and regularly report progress and any issues to HQ.
- Conduct on-site M&E inspections and quality checks, and troubleshoot technical issues as they emerge.
- Study and analyze consultant specifications, drawings, schematics, and design intent to identify discrepancies, issuing RFIs where necessary or resolving directly with consultants and clients.
- Manage monthly M&E meetings and take full ownership in overseeing, coordinating, and resolving M&E matters across the entire scope.
- Address and resolve any M&E-related issues that arise during the Defects Liability Period (DLP).
- Participate in Design & Build (D&B) projects, collaborating closely with consultants and architects throughout the design and construction process.
Job Requirements :
- Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or its equivalent
- Preferably possess a minimum 10 years of experience in the Construction Industry
- Property Management experience in Grade A1 Buildings will be an added advantage
