IT Intern (3 - 6 months)

Are you a motivated and aspiring IT student eager to gain hands-on programming experience in a dynamic business environment? Join our team as an IT Programming Intern and contribute to the integration and customization of key business systems.

This internship offers a valuable opportunity to work on real-world projects involving construction related data. You will develop and apply your programming skills using languages such as Python and PHP, work with databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL, and gain practical experience in data synchronization and system customization.

Using AI to develop and integration with workflow, collection of data and datasets.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Director to assist in various programming tasks.
• Develop, test, and maintain scripts or tools for data synchronization between Whatsapp and associated databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Write and debug code primarily in Python and PHP.
• Assist in managing and querying MySQL and PostgreSQL databases.
• Participate in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to system integrations and data flows.
• Document code, development processes, and ystem configurations.
• Learn and apply new technologies using AI and techniques as required.

Qualifications & Certifications:

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Diploma or Degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Requirements:

• Foundational knowledge in programming concepts and coursework or project experience with the specified languages (Python, PHP).
• Basic understanding of database principles and ability to write basic SQL queries (experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL is a plus).
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Located conveniently within 5mins walk from Kovan MRT.
