Interior Designer

Job Description

We are looking for an interior designer who will define the artistic vision for clients’ home, work, and recreational spaces. The interior designer will use their artistic abilities to design spaces that meet C & W Pte Ltd’s requirements while strictly adhering to building safety codes, regulatory standards, and budget constraints. They may also source necessary products and materials and inspect construction sites to ensure design specifications are being met.

Objectives of this role

• Generate compelling designs that meet client requirements
• Boost C & W Pte Ltd’s reputation through strong client relationships
• Encourage collaboration between design and construction teams
• Develop sound interior design practices to advance C & W Pte Ltd’s efforts
• Ensure constructions meet provided specifications
• Provide exemplary customer service

Responsibilities

• Establish high-level design objectives to fulfill client projects
• Design architectural interiors using AutoCAD, Autodesk 3DS max, 2D and 3D software, etc.
• Determine budgets that match project requirements
• Schedule project milestones and completion timelines
• Inspect construction to ensure adherence to requirements and compliance with codes and standards
• Source construction materials needed for building plans

• Significant project management experience
• Diverse and in-depth portfolio of interior design work
• Ability to stay organized and focused on long projects
• Strong communication skills, and a willingness to work on a team
• Superb organizational and time-management processes

Preferred qualifications

• Deeply analytical, with an eye for detail
• Demonstrable resourcefulness in high-stress situations
• Proficient with 3D modeling software such as AutoCAD, Autodesk 3DS max
• Capable with image editing software such as Photoshop
• Knowledgeable about office software such as Google Workspace or Microsoft 365
• Experience with developing comprehensive project schedules
