Healthcare Assistant

The Healthcare Assistant support and assist the Staff Nurses and Enrolled Nurses in the delivery of nursing care to clients and help to maintain a clean, safe and comfortable Senior Care Centre environment for them.

• Participate in activities to improve the quality of care.
• Attend to clients’ needs and report their needs to the nurses.
• Ensure the safety, comfort and well-being of the residents.
• Assist in the transfer and positioning of non-ambulant residents.
• Assist in the conduct of daily exercises for the residents.
• Assist in serving meals and drinks, and feeding patient
• Escort patients to and fro between their homes and the Senior Care Centre.
• Alert Centre Manager of emergency situations immediately.

Job Requirements

• WSQ in Healthcare or equivalent qualification will be an advantage
• Must be fully vaccinated with COVID-19 vaccinations
