Job Description:

This is a full time role for an Head of Procurement located in Senoko Drive. Our client is creating a new and sustainable way of supplying fresh fruit and vegetables to Singapore and you'll be responsible for optimizing stock control to ensure efficient inventory management while minimizing shortages and excess. This involves developing and executing procurement strategies for food categories like frozen food, meat, dairy, and seafood. Responsibilities include cost optimization, supplier management, contract negotiations, and market analysis. The position also requires overseeing procurement processes, ensuring compliance, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to align business needs. Additionally, it involves representing the company in trade shows and leading a procurement team to drive efficiency and innovation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field;
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in direct procurement, with a proven track record of managing complex procurement functions and achieving cost savings.
• Strong network within the Food industry across the region and globally
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite
