Freelance/Contract Website Developer (SEO + AI Search Focused)

We’re looking for a skilled Website Developer to partner with our creative team on a freelance or contract basis. If you're someone who loves the intersection of website tech, SEO, and design—and you're excited about integrating AI-powered search to boost visibility—this might be the perfect fit. What You'll Be Responsible For:

• Full development of our website: from performance to SEO optimization, discoverability, and functionality.
• Leading our website migration to a new platform (guided by our in-house design system).
• Ensuring the site is customizable, scalable, and AI-search ready to adapt to ongoing changes in search behavior.
• Working closely with our creative and content teams to suggest and structure content that improves visibility, performance, and brand credibility.
• Implementing technical SEO best practices and ensuring seamless on-page optimization.
• Running regular SEO and performance audits, and implementing improvements as needed.

You Should Have:

• Proven experience in SEO-friendly website development and migration projects.
• Deep understanding of technical SEO, schema, Core Web Vitals, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with AI-driven search and discoverability trends.
• Proficiency with platforms such as Webflow, WordPress, or similar CMS that allows flexibility and customization.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills—while you won’t be reporting daily, we value clarity and accountability.

• Experience with AI integration for web (e.g., ChatGPT plugins, AI-enhanced search, etc.).
• Familiarity with motion or creative agencies or working within brand guideline constraints.
