Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance cum Operations Intern to support ESGpedia’s finance and operations. This role will provide hands-on experience in corporate finance, financial data analysis, operational support and internal financial reporting.

Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for operational activities and initiatives such as, but not limited to:

· Financial Reporting & Analysis
Support the Finance team in preparing monthly management accounts, including trial balance, P&L, and balance sheets using Xero Accounting System. Perform financial chart analysis and provide insights.

· Corporate Fundraising Support
Assist in preparing investor decks, financial models, and pitch materials for fundraising activities. Conduct market research and peer benchmarking to support capital raising strategies.

· Data Entry & Regulatory Surveys
Assist with data entry for financial and ESG-related documentation/surveys.

· Operational Documentation
Help maintain internal documentation such as financial procedures, process workflows, and audit support files.

· Governance & Risk Monitoring
Monitor and update corporate registers including risk and action logs under corporate governance guidelines.

· Audit & Compliance
Participate in SOC and ISO certification audits, gaining insight into international standards and compliance frameworks.

You will be responsible for operational activities and initiatives such as, but not limited to:

· Assist Finance team to prepare timesheets of staff that’s required for preparation of Annual reports and also participate in financial audit process. Do critical thinking and perform chart analysis.

· Assist in research, proposal, investor deck for corporate financing matters

· Monitoring and maintenance of all risk/action registers and logs as and when assigned by Supervisors under corporate governance controls.

· Support in documentation work relating to policies, procedures and manuals.

· Help out in the preparation of GRI/ISO report doing data entry, surveys as and when as assigned by Supervisor.

Requirements

· Undergraduate pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or other analytical fields.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

· Strong research and documentation skills.

· Interest in building operational infrastructure and supporting financial controls.

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

· High level of professionalism and strong sense of accountability.
