Job Description

  1. Oversee Daily Operations
    Supervise day-to-day activities in the restaurant or dining area.
    Ensure smooth workflow of service staff, including waiters and kitchen support.
  2. Staff Supervision & Scheduling
    Assign duties and shifts to service staff.
    Monitor staff performance and provide guidance or training as needed.
    Ensure adequate staffing levels for each shift.
  3. Customer Service Excellence
    Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained.
    Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
    Greet and interact with guests to ensure satisfaction.
  4. Maintain Cleanliness & Hygiene
    Ensure dining and service areas meet hygiene and safety standards.
    Conduct routine inspections of the restaurant and kitchen areas.
  5. Inventory & Stock Control
    Monitor and manage inventory of food, beverages, and supplies.
    Coordinate with the kitchen and purchasing team for stock replenishment.
    Prevent wastage and over-ordering.
  6. Order Management & Billing
    Supervise the processing of orders and ensure timely service.
    Ensure accuracy of bills and assist in cash handling procedures.
  7. Compliance & Safety
    Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies.
    Conduct briefings and safety drills when necessary.
  8. Training & Onboarding
    Train new staff on service procedures, company policies, and customer interaction.
    Conduct refresher training to maintain service quality.
  9. Report to Management
    Submit daily or weekly reports on operations, customer feedback, and staff performance.
    Report maintenance issues or operational concerns to management promptly.
  10. Promotions & Upselling
  • Encourage staff to upsell food and beverage items.
  • Support promotional activities and themed events.
