EV Workshop Coordinator (EV, Automotive Industry)

The EV Workshop Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating day-to-day operations of an EV workshop, ensuring seamless workflows, timely servicing, and optimal utilization of resources. This role involves liaising between technicians, suppliers, and clients to maintain high standards of service quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Workshop Operations:

1. Plan and schedule daily maintenance and repair tasks for EVs to ensure efficient operations.
2. Monitor workshop activities to ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
3. Maintain an organized workflow, minimizing downtime and ensuring vehicles are serviced on time.

Team Coordination:

1. Act as a point of contact between workshop and customers.
2. Assign tasks to technicians based on workload and expertise.
3. Provide support and guidance to the team to resolve operational challenges.

Inventory and Supplies Management:

1. Manage inventory levels of tools, spare parts, and consumables required for EV maintenance.
2. Coordinate with suppliers to order parts and ensure timely delivery.
3. Keep accurate records of stock usage and prepare reports on inventory status.

Record Keeping and Reporting:

1. Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and vehicle history in the workshop management system.
2. Generate and present periodic reports on workshop performance, including productivity, costs, and downtime.
3. Track and document warranty claims and service agreements.

Compliance and Safety:

1. Ensure all workshop activities comply with local regulations and EV-specific safety standards.
2. Conduct regular inspections to maintain a safe working environment.
3. Organize training sessions on EV-specific safety protocols for workshop staff.
