ENGINEER & QUANTITY SURVEYOR

ROLES & RESPONSIBLITIES

• Prepare bill of quantites which involves quantity take-off, materials sourcing, measuring and estimating materials and labour cost used in the tendering
• Responsible for the Quantity Surveying and Contract Administration
• Ensure all claims be submitted and certified on time
• Source and compile quotation and prepare cost analysis and resolve dispute quantites
• Liaison with contractors, clients, sub-contractors, relevant authorities during the entire project phase
• Attending meeting on-site, co-ordinating between administrative and site operations
• Any other related ad-hoc duties assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor of Engineering with 5 years of relevant experience, preference in metal industry with AutoCad experience
• Good communication skills, organizations skills and with multi-tasking abilities
• Have positive working attitude, proactive and meticulous
• Basic knowledge of quantity surveying, construction work is required
• Teamwork (ability and willingness to work with all levels of organisation)
• Able to commence within short notice
