ENGINEER

• Collaborating with project managers to understand project requirements, specifications, and expectations
• Participating in project planning and scheduling activities
• Inspecting construction sites regularly to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications
• Implementing and maintaining quality control procedures to ensure the project meets industry standards and regulations
• Conducting tests on construction materials to ensure they meet required standards
• Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other professionals to coordinate activities and resolve design issues
• Provide technical solutions to problems encountered during the construction process
• Efficiently managing resources, including labour, materials, and equipment
• Implementing and enforcing safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
• Conducting regular safety inspections and addressing any issues promptly
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily reports, progress reports, and as-built drawings
• Keeping records of materials used, labor hours, and equipment usage
• Identifying and resolving construction-related issues and challenges as they arise
• Providing regular updates to project stakeholders on progress, challenges, and milestones
• Undertake any other duties assigned by management from time to time

Job Requirement:

• Diploma or Degree in engineering or a related field
• At least having 5 years relevant experience as engineer in construction industry
• Posses WSQ or relevant certificate is a plus
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and processes.
• Familiarity with relevant construction codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Proficiency in using construction management software and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving skills to address unexpected challenges.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Able to multi-task and work under tight schedules
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Able to face challenging tasks and meet high standards and deadlines
• Able to attend to emergency call due to project and works needs beyond office hours
