Job Responsibilities and Description:

Position Overview:

As a Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods or passengers. This position requires working on public holidays and weekends as needed. Applicants must possess a valid Class 4 driving license.

1. Safe and Responsible Driving:

· Operate company vehicles in a safe and responsible manner, following all traffic laws and regulations.

· Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.

· Maintain a clean and well-organized vehicle.

2. Timely Deliveries or Transportation:

· Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods or safe transportation of passengers to their destinations.

· Plan routes efficiently to minimize delays and optimize fuel consumption.

3. Vehicle Maintenance:

· Report any mechanical issues or accidents promptly to the appropriate authorities and ensure necessary repairs are carried out.

· Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as refueling, oil changes, and tire checks.

4. Customer Service:

· Interact professionally with customers and passengers, providing assistance as needed.

· Maintain a courteous and respectful demeanor during all interactions.

5. Documentation and Record-Keeping:

· Complete necessary paperwork, including delivery logs, mileage records, and incident reports.

· Maintain accurate records of deliveries or passenger trips.

6. Adherence to Company Policies:

· Comply with company policies and procedures related to vehicle operation, safety, and security.

· Follow specific delivery instructions and protocols, if applicable.

7. Work Schedule:

· Be willing to work on public holidays and weekends, as the job may require occasional weekend and holiday shifts.

Qualifications:

· Valid Class 4 driving license.

· Proven experience as a driver, with a clean driving record.

· Familiarity with local traffic laws and regulations.

· Strong time-management and route-planning skills.

· Excellent communication and customer service skills.

· Ability to lift and carry moderate loads, if necessary.

· Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
