Job Description & Requirements

Responsibilities:

· Drafting and Reviewing Contracts:prepare and review contracts, including purchase agreements, leases, mortgages, and other related documents.

· Title Searches and Due Diligence:conduct thorough title searches to ensure the seller has the legal right to sell the property and to identify any potential issues or liens.

· Advising on Legal Issues: provide legal advice to clients regarding real estate transactions, zoning and land use regulations, and potential risks.

· Negotiating Terms and Conditions: negotiate the terms and conditions of real estate transactions on behalf of their clients, including sale or lease agreements.

· Litigating Disputes: may represent clients in court or other legal proceedings to resolve disputes related to property transactions.

· Handling Closings:oversee the closing process, ensuring all legal documents are properly executed and that the transaction complies with applicable laws.

· Zoning and Land Use: provide advice on zoning and land use regulations and may represent clients in zoning and land use hearings or appeals.

· Property Development and Construction: provide legal counsel during property development and construction projects, advising on issues such as contracts, permits, and compliance with regulations.

· Environmental Issues:assess environmental compliance and regulatory issues related to property transactions.
