CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily scaffolding site operations and ensure work is performed according to project plans, safety standards, and timeline.
• Oversee scaffolding erection, modification, dismantling, and inspection, ensuring compliance with safety codes and project specifications.
• Coordinate and manage teams of scaffolders, riggers, and site workers on-site.
• Ensure proper use of scaffolding materials and monitor inventory and equipment usage.
• Conduct daily toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and ensure adherence to WSH practices.
• Interpret scaffolding layout drawings and communicate instructions clearly to the team.
• Ensure all lifting, material handling, and working-at-height activities are safely supervised.
• Report daily site progress, incidents, and manpower deployment to project manager or site engineer.

Mandatory Certifications (Must-Have):

Candidates must possess the following valid certifications:

• ✅ Building Construction Supervisor Safety Course (BCSS)
• ✅ Signalman Course Certificate
• ✅ Lifting Supervisor Safety Course Certificate
• ✅ Work at Height Course for Supervisors

Requirements:

• Minimum NITEC / Diploma / Trade Certificate in Civil, Mechanical, or Building Construction disciplines.
• At least 2 to 3 years of supervisory experience in scaffolding operations within Singapore’s construction sector.
• Strong understanding of scaffolding safety, erection standards, load requirements, and MOM regulations.
• Able to read and interpret scaffold drawings and work independently under pressure.
• Good leadership, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
• Physically fit and willing to work at construction sites and high elevations.
