About Us:

The Ramakrishna Mission Boys' Home is a residential Home for boys between 5 and 18. The Home is run by the Ramakrishna Mission within its premises. residents go to local schools and return to the Home. The Home takes care and works towards reintegration with the family.

The key responsibilities are to assist the Head of Home and Premises Manager managing the needs of the Home. It includes duties such as:

1. Assisting them in the preparation and serving of snacks during breaktime

2. Ensuring neat and tidy school uniforms, socks and shoes are ready. The appropriate attire for school (Uniform or PE attire).

3. Assisting in laundry and sorting of the children's clothing.

4. Helping the children in their daily needs

5. Helping the young children in feeding them and cleaning them.

6. Ensuring that bed linens are fresh and regularly changed.

7. Ensuring that the upholstery is clean and neat.

8. Ensuring sufficient stock of housekeeping supplies.

9. Help needed to take care of the young children

10. Reporting safety and security hazards and malfunctioning of housekeep equipment (such as washing machines) to the Premises Manager.

11. Be a team member in the ESR (Environment Sanitation Regime) by ensuring toilets are clean and stocked with toilet rolls and hand towels.

Primarily ensuring that the Home is clean and regularly disinfected.
