You will provide a high standard of care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care to meet the needs of the patients, including educating patients and caregivers. You will also orientate and guide the junior nurses to provide optimal care to meet desired patient outcomes and experiences. In addition, you will assist in resource management as well as participate actively in quality improvement projects to improve patient care delivery.

To qualify for the Career Conversion Programme for Registered Nurses (Diploma), you will have to meet the following non-academic criteria:

• Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Minimum 21 years old
• Graduated or completed National Service for at least 2 years
• Able to find 2 sureties

Listed below are the relevant admission criteria:

• Bachelor degree from a recognised university in a discipline other than nursing; or
• Local polytechnic diploma in a discipline other than nursing; or
• 3 GCE ‘A’ level credits* with 2 GCE ‘O’ level credits^ in a Science subject and Mathematics

* GCE ‘A’ level credits refer to grades A to E.

^ GCE ‘O’ level credits refer to grades A1 to C6.
