Beginning Preschool Educator (English)

Job Description

• Creates a secure environment for young children through nurturing respectful, responsive and reciprocal relationships with them.
• Implement appropriate curricula and programmes with observation and assessment of the children's needs and developmental milestones to create a quality learning environment.
• Provide holistic development for the children and forge trusting and respectful relationships and partnerships with families.
• Actively carries out the Centre's initiatives and supports its collatborative efforts with the community and engages in continuous learning and development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate pedagogical practices and activities to engage and enrich children's learning through during daily school experiences and activities.
• Design and maintain learning environment to support children’s developmental and learning needs
• Plan and carry out observation and documentation of children’s learning and development to gain in-depth understanding of each child
• Establish and maintain collaborative partnership with families and communities.

Requirements

• English Teacher with Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education and equivalent
• Certified by ECDA at L1/ L2 category
• Min 2 years experience in early childhood education
• Passionate, committed and dedicated
• Preferably living in Punggol and Sengkang areas.
