Assistant Manager (Electrical)

Job Responsibility:

• Lead the Electrical, Instrumental and Control engineering services team in planning, design and review with project team the P&ID, general arrangement of equipment, piping, cabling, services, tanks, buildings and amenities to meet contractual requirement, codes & standards, accessibility, constructability and operability.
• Lead, manage and review process team’s work in the preparation of the SLD, Schematic diagram, cable sizing calculation, fault level studies, calculation of cable support system, instrument hook up diagrams, Instrument and PLC Loop diagram, load list finalizations, earthing and lightning system design, Tender preparations with its costing and schedule estimations.
• Lead the Electrical, Instrument and Control engineering team in BSWS.
• Assign and ensure all engineering submissions and revisions are delivered on time.
• Specify and select the mechanical, electrical, instrument equipment, evaluation vendors offer to determine the technical ratings.
• Provide solution for technical issues, continual improvement on the design and new product development.
• Reporting on the productivity of the engineering services, root cause analysis, well verse with the market trends, best practices and new innovations.
• Training of Electrical technology to existing and new members of BSWS

Job Requirement:

• Minimum Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• At least 15 years proven experience in engineering manager role in Electrical, Instrumentation and Control works preferably for Industrial water & wastewater treatment or industrial plant design.
• Good knowledge of international codes and standards, best practice and market trends.
• Hands on experience in project execution, testing and commissioning of plant in order to lead the engineering team competently.
• Engineering degree in Electrical or similar, PE qualification would be added advantage.
