Assistant Baker (Halal)

We are a Halal-certified (certification in progress) mantou bun bakery based in Singapore, and we’re looking for a passionate and reliable Baking/Pastry Assistant to join our growing team!

Job Scope:

• Assist in the preparation and creation of mantou buns
• Operate baking equipment and ensure machinery is functioning properly
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in line with Halal practices
• Clean and sanitize the workplace daily
• Prepare ingredients and monitor inventory for restocking
• Follow recipes and instructions from the head baker
• Assist with packaging and display of baked goods
• Attend to walk-in customers as needed

Requirements:

• Food Safety Course Level 1 certified
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in the F&B industry is preferred but not required
• Muslim staff with Halal compliance knowledge will have an advantage
• Physically fit and able to stand for long hours
• Full-time: 5 or 6 day work week
• Part-time: Able to commit at least 2 days per week
• Working hours: 10:00am – 7:00pm

Remuneration & Benefits

• Final remuneration will be based on the applicant’s experience and suitability
