Artisan Cake Specialist

Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Artisan Cake Specialist to join our bakery team in the Kovan / Hougang / Serangoon area. Specialising in handcrafted cakes for meaningful occasions, this role involves baking and decorating a variety of themed and artisanal cakes, with a strong emphasis on quality, creativity, and customer satisfaction.

Job Title: Artisan Cake Specialist

Location: Kovan / Hougang / Serangoon Area, Singapore

Salary: $1,600 – $2,400 per month (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Bake soft sponge cakes and other base types suitable for our full cake range: baby cakes, children’s cakes, macaron cakes, floral cakes, and buttercream cakes
• Decorate cakes to suit various themes and aesthetics, including children’s characters, soft floral designs, and elegant macaron-topped creations
• Handle custom cake orders from start to finish, including baking, frosting, decorating, and packaging
• Work with the team or customers to interpret design briefs and ensure visual accuracy and consistency
• Apply a range of decorating techniques such as piping, buttercream work, fondant, macaron placement, and floral arrangement
• Maintain the highest standard of taste, texture, and appearance for all cakes
• Perform basic ingredient stock-taking and manage supplies efficiently
• Help with general cleaning, workstation maintenance, and preparation for daily operations
• Follow all hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness standards in the kitchen
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfilment and smooth day-to-day operations

Requirements:

• Singaporean, Permanent Resident, LTVPand LTVP+ (from neighbouring countries e.g. Malaysia, Vietnam, Myanmar, etc. with no working experience) are welcome to apply
• Diploma, ITE, Nitec or Higher Nitec in Pastry and Baking or a related field is an added advantage
• Previous experience in baking and cake decorating is an added advantage
• Strong proficiency in buttercream, piping, and decorative techniques is an added advantage
• Knowledge or experience with macaron and floral cake presentation is an added advantage
• A creative mindset with a meticulous approach to detail
• Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple custom orders and deadlines
• Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and during festive seasons
• A genuine passion for artisanal baking and crafting cakes that bring joy
• A cheerful personality with a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment

Working Hours:
Full-time, 6 days a week (including weekends); early morning start required
