ARCHITECTURAL MANAGER

Job Responsibilities:

• To lead Architectural Co-ordinators and Supervisors, manage project architectural requirements and track any changes / deviation from main tender provisions.
• To plan trades schedule and coordinate architectural trade work, finishes, and interfacing with structural and M&E details.
• Review, prepare, liaise, co-ordinate, discuss and resolve with Clients, Consultants, project team members and Subcontractors for projects specifications, project management, technical issues;
• Ensure timely submission of architectural drawings, material samples, and method statements as per the project schedule.
• Plan and coordinate on-site activities, working closely with subcontractors and their supervisors to ensure smooth execution.
• Manage the entire process in project management, relating to all operational and administration procedures and communicates all project expectations to team members.
• Ensure timely and smooth progress of works by monitoring the progress of the works with respect to the targeted schedule.
• Prepare Architectural progress reports & forecasts.
• Ensure all works meet specified requirements, quality standards and government regulations are complied with, including maintainability requirements.
• Communicate effectively with client, consultants and multidisciplinary teams to address design and construction challenges.
• Ensure compliance with EHS requirements, regulations, and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in selection and appointment of subcontractors and suppliers
• Ensure that the maintenance and projects are managed in accordance to customer’s specification
• Ensure that the budgets are kept within the budgeted costs and margin
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties and tasks as assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

• Recognized Degree in Architecture or equivalent with at least 5 years working experience in building or construction projects
• Possession of Green Mark Accredited Professional (GMP) is an added advantage.
• Good knowledge in architectural works
• Good Planning Skills
• Good communicative skills, able to interact with people of all levels and teamwork
• Knowledge of BIM / VDC technology and Proficient in Revit/AutoCAD will be an added advantage
• Organized, highly motivated and independent with excellent team spirit and interpersonal skills
• Proactive and detail-oriented to meet / exceed requirements
• To be deployed to projects along Tuas South Way.
