Accounts Executive

Responsibilities

- Handle all Accounts Payables & Accounts Receivables

- Prepare Payment for Suppliers

- L/C Negotiation

- Data compilation, billing, other accounting tasks

- Reconciliation of Inter- Company Invoices and update into Hyperion

- Monthly Bank Reconciliation

- Month end AP and AR Aging reconciliation

- Prepare Month End GST Reports

- Prepare schedules for tax filing

- Check & Compile Month End Goods Received

- Calculate & issue Credit Note to Customers for Sales Discount

- Prepare Staff Monthly Claims and overtime

- Month end closing processes and updating schedules

- Proper filing and documentation

- Assists with the preparation of trial balance and financial statements.

- Monthly and yearly finalisation of accounts for audit purposes.

- Support Accountant in liaising with external auditors' requests and enquiries.

- Participate in ad-hoc finance-related projects and systems testing when necessary.

- Assist in verification of data for new ERP implementation

Skills and Competencies

- 3 – 5 years relevant experience with financial analysis exposure.

- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and various accounting software.

- Diploma Accountancy or equivalent / relevant professional qualifications

- Knowledge of SAP / ERP has an added advantage.

- Able to work under tight timeframes and able to multi-task.

- Able to communicate effectively across different levels in the organization.
