Accounts Executive

Job Purpose

The Accounts Payable Executive is responsible for managing the company’s full spectrum of accounts payable functions. This includes timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, payments, reconciliation, and maintaining proper documentation and compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities

· Process supplier invoices, staff claims, and other payment-related transactions accurately and in a timely manner.

· Match invoices with purchase orders and delivery orders, and obtain necessary approvals.

· Prepare and perform payments via cheque, GIRO, FAST, or internet banking.

· Maintain vendor master data and ensure proper documentation and filing of all payment records.

· Perform regular supplier statement reconciliations and follow up on discrepancies.

· Handle petty cash reimbursements and staff expense claims.

· Assist in month-end closing activities, including accruals and generation of AP reports.

· Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve invoice/payment-related issues.

· Support audits and ensure compliance with internal control procedures and accounting standards.

· Any other ad-hoc finance tasks as assigned by the CFO.

Requirements

· Diploma in Accounting, LCCI, or related field.

· Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable.

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with QuickBooks is an advantage).

· Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to handle high volume of transactions.

· Good interpersonal and communication skills.

· Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

· Only Singaporeans or Permanent Residents (PRs) may apply.

Working Conditions

· 5-day work week (Mon–Fri full day).

· Office-based, located at Head Office.
