Accounts Associate (3 to 6 Months Contract)

JOB DESCRIPTION

As part of the Accounting & Bookkeeping engagement team, the Accounts Associate (Maternity Cover) will be responsible for computing, classifying, recording and verifying numerical data for use in maintaining during the maternity cover period.

* Handle full-set accounts for clients using Quick Book/Xero

* Accounting files and financial statements;

* GST returns;

* Tax returns

You will liaise with clients to collate and compile supporting information and documents required for the financial statement preparations.

REQUIREMENT

* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Accountancy·

* At least 3 years of experience in accounting field, preferably in professional accounting firm but not a must.

* Good knowledge of small medium business accounting, hands on experience in GST.

* Familiar with QuickBook, MYOB or Xero will be added advantage.
