Accountant

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounting, including general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and compile reconciliations analysis for balance sheet items.
• Prepare reports for management, including variance analysis and budget vs. actuals.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including GST and corporate income tax filings.
• Oversee cash flow management and communicate with customers, suppliers, and banks to ensure timely transactions.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes and audits.
• Any other ad hoc jobs as assigned by management

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in trading & distribution.
• Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel. Knowledge of accounting software like Xero or SAP is a plus.
• Attributes: Detail-oriented, organized, able to work independently, and meet deadlines. Strong customer service and communication skills.
