Job Summary & Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable/Receivable Management – Overseeing incoming and outgoing payments, ensuring they are processed on time, and managing financial transactions.
• Internal and External Communication – To collaborate with various departments to gather information needed for financial reporting or to resolve discrepancies.
• Addressing Employees’ Queries – Be the point of contact for employees who have questions about their salaries, benefits, reimbursements, or other financial matters.
• Addressing Customers’ Queries – To deal with customers’ queries related to invoices, payment statuses, or account discrepancies in a timely and professional manner to maintain good client relationships.
• Coordination for AR Collections – To send Statement of Account to all the customers on monthly basis to coordinate collection efforts for overdue invoices, requiring regular communication with customers.
• Auditing –In collaboration with internal/external auditors for Singapore, Malaysia, and Vietnam to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations follow relevant laws, standards, and company policies, including adherence to accounting principles like GAAP.
• Others – May assist in budgeting, forecasting and tax preparation and planning.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualification: A diploma or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in accounting with a western MNC or Big 4
• Mathematical and Analytical Skills: Strong numerical ability and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to Detail: Accuracy in financial records and reports.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Excel).
• Communication Skills: Ability to explain financial information clearly and proficiency in email writing.
• Language: Good command of English and Chinese
• Understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
• Familiarity with auditing procedures, and financial reporting requirements.
