Job Description

Job scopes


1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

Maintain full sets of accounts (AP, AR, GL, fixed assets, etc.)


Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements


Handle journal entries, bank reconciliations, and cash flow statements


Assist in audit preparation and liaise with auditors


2. Accounts Payable & Receivable

Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments


Monitor receivables and follow up on outstanding payments


Reconcile accounts with subcontractors and suppliers


3. Project Costing & Budgeting

Track project expenses and ensure they align with budgets


Analyze cost variances and report financial performance of projects


Assist in preparation of tenders or budget estimates


4. Tax & Statutory Compliance

Prepare GST submissions


Ensure compliance with IRAS, CPF, and other local regulations


Assist in corporate tax computations and filings


5. Administrative Support

Assist with payroll administration


Maintain proper documentation and filing systems


Coordinate with HR or operations on employee claims and petty cash


6. Client/Vendor Communication

Coordinate with clients regarding billings, payments, and contracts


Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors on payment issues or documentation




Requirements:


  • Detail-oriented: Accurate data entry, careful with financial reports and reconciliations
  • Analytical thinking: Able to interpret numbers, spot discrepancies, and understand cost implications
  • Organized: Capable of handling multiple deadlines and large volumes of transactions
  • Proactive: Takes initiative in resolving discrepancies or chasing payments
  • Trustworthy and discreet: Handles sensitive financial and payroll data responsibly
  • Good communication skills: Comfortable liaising with suppliers, clients, auditors, and internal teams
  • Problem-solving ability: Especially in managing supplier disputes or invoice mismatches
  • Team player: Able to coordinate with procurement, project, and HR departments
  • Time managementMeets tight deadlines, especially during audit or tax submission periods
  • Able to work 5.5days ( Alternate half saturday)
